Dirt 3 is a racing game developed by Codemasters. It is the third instalment in the Colin McRae Dirtseries and the eighth in the Colin McRae Rally series. However, the "Colin McRae" tag has been completely removed from its iteration (having previously been removed from only American versions of previous games in the series). The game was released in Europe and North America on the 24 May 2011, and two days later in Australia for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
